J’s Excellenccy Hotel stands as a testament to the vision and dedication of Mr. Namdeosheth, who embarked on this remarkable journey in 1982. Starting with the existing premises, Mr. Namdeosheth laid the foundation for what would become one of Mahabaleshwar’s most esteemed hotels.
From the very beginning, J’s Excellenccy has been dedicated to providing exceptional service to group tours and individual visitors alike. The hotel quickly gained a reputation for its warm hospitality and comfortable accommodations, becoming a preferred choice for travelers
In 1993, the first major renovation took place, marking a significant milestone in the hotel’s history. It was during this time that Mr. Namdeosheth expanded into the restaurant business, offering guests a delightful culinary experience. Additionally, the hotel introduced all-inclusive packages from Mumbai to Mumbai, enhancing convenience for guests. The hotel’s excellent facilities and service also attracted numerous shooting units, further cementing its reputation.
The journey of growth continued in 1998 with the second renovation, which saw the addition of more rooms to accommodate the increasing number of guests. This expansion allowed J’s Excellenccy to serve even more visitors, ensuring that every guest enjoyed a comfortable and memorable stay.
In 2013, the last significant renovation was undertaken, transforming J’s Excellenccy into a modern and comprehensive hospitality destination. This renovation included the addition of three halls for events and conferences, a refreshing swimming pool, ample parking space, an elevator for easy accessibility, power backup to ensure uninterrupted service, and 24-hour hot water facilities.
